U.S. imposes sanctions on Italy-based group over alleged terror links
The United States has sanctioned Italy-based Autistici/Inventati (A/I Collective), Palestine Action and other entities linked to what Washington called transnational far-left terrorist networks, according to The Guardian.
State Department spokesperson Thomas Pigott said the A/I Collective provides digital infrastructure used by Antifa cells and radical networks to organise, recruit and share tactical materials.
Palestine Action was designated for allegedly supporting terrorism, while Masar Badil was sanctioned over alleged links to the Samidoun network. Leaders Rawa Alsagheer and Zaid Abdulnasser were also designated. Under Executive Order 13224, all US-linked assets of the groups are blocked, with penalties for violations.
