Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska says her family’s apartment in Odesa was destroyed in a Russian aerial strike that injured 37 people, including a baby, according to the BBC.

Yastremska shared images of the damaged multi-storey building on social media, saying it was hit by a Russian Kalibr cruise missile. She also posted a photo of a Roland Garros towel that survived the attack, describing it as a symbol of what remained.

Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper said two people were missing following overnight missile and drone attacks on Odesa and nearby Chornomorsk.

Yastremska, 26, reached the Australian Open semi-finals in 2024.
