Vote for my husband, I want to enjoy Nigeria at old age — Remi Tinubu
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has urged voters in the South-East to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.
According to Vanguard, she made the appeal during her visit to Owerri, Imo State, where she empowered women.
“Make una vote for Mr President, we go work for una and Nigeria go better,” she said. Tinubu said the programme would benefit 18,500 women nationwide, with 500 beneficiaries from each South-East state. She also announced N100,000 cash support for each beneficiary in Imo, while Governor Hope Uzodimma pledged support for President Tinubu’s re-election.
