Be ready to employ your uncle as dancer – Uzodinma mocks Davido
Imo Governor and APC Osun Campaign Council Chairman Hope Uzodimma has hit back at Grammy-nominated singer Davido following the artist’s public appeal for him not to interfere in the August 15 Osun governorship election, advising the singer to redirect his concerns to voters — and to begin preparing his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for life after office.
In a statement reported by TheCable, Uzodimma described Davido’s appeal as “pedestrian,” dismissed Adeleke’s administration as “a woeful failure” and suggested the singer “officially sign his uncle as a dancer in his musical band” after the election.
Davido had on Wednesday urged peaceful conduct at an Accord Party event in Osogbo, citing alleged plans to disrupt the poll.
