Rodri chooses Barcelona as Manchester City set €60m-70m price
Barcelona have moved into pole position to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri after the Spain international reportedly chose the Catalan club over Real Madrid.
According to Barca Universal, citing Jijantes FC and Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport, Manchester City are prepared to negotiate and could accept between €60 million and €70 million despite initially valuing the 30-year-old at €80 million.
Barcelona’s interest intensified following Frenkie de Jong’s long-term knee injury, although any deal will depend on the club creating enough financial room to comply with La Liga’s financial regulations.
