Football icon Ronaldo marries partner of 10 years, Georgina Rodríguez

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on 11 August, BBC reports.

The Portuguese striker announced the news via Instagram, sharing an image of the couple’s wedding rings, which garnered over three million likes within 30 minutes. Portuguese media reported the couple’s five children attended the ceremony.

The pair met a decade ago at a Gucci shop in Madrid and announced their engagement exactly a year earlier. Ronaldo, 41, currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
