Sowore raises fresh concerns over Tinubu’s health, planned Saudi visit
African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has questioned President Bola Tinubu’s planned trip to Saudi Arabia, raising concerns about its timing and the president’s health.
According to Daily Post, Sowore made the remarks on Wednesday following reports that Tinubu would travel on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
“Nigeria is in serious trouble! After the Kaduna rally, there are now indications that Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialabat is being prepared for another foreign trip tomorrow, October 29, 2026, amid growing questions about his health,” Sowore wrote.
He alleged that five governors, ministers and prominent businessmen were being assembled to accompany Tinubu, suggesting their presence could portray the journey as official business.
The Presidency has reportedly announced that Tinubu would visit Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah and pray for Nigeria’s peace and stability.
However, Sowore’s concerns about the president’s health remain unverified, with no medical evidence presented to substantiate the allegations.
