Kylian Mbappé matches feats of Ronaldo and Benzema as Real Madrid beat Valencia
Kylian Mbappe extended his goalscoring run to seven consecutive matches as Real Madrid secured a 3-0 victory over Valencia at Mestalla, according to Sports Mole.
The French forward netted in the 75th minute after rounding goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski to complete the scoring. Federico Valverde opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Arda Guler doubled Madrid’s lead shortly before half-time.
Mbappe’s strike was his 17th goal of the season across all competitions and saw him join real Madrid legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in achieving a seven-game scoring streak for the club.
The result marked an eighth straight win across all competitions for Jose Mourinho’s team, taking Real Madrid to 30 points in La Liga and placing them level at the summit with title rivals Barcelona ahead of their match against Atletico Madrid.
Valencia’s difficult evening concluded with captain Jose Gaya receiving a late red card.
