Dana White to meet Trump over White House press secretary job offer

Dana White is flying to Washington to discuss the White House press secretary job after Trump publicly pleaded with him to “please take the job!”

Dana White is expected to meet President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Monday to discuss an offer to become White House press secretary, TMZ reports.

Trump revealed the offer in a Truth Social post on Saturday, saying White would “be a Press Secretary like none other.” He added: “Dana, please take the job!”

Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that White is in London for a boxing match on Saturday night and will meet Trump on Monday. White later said he was flying to Washington, D.C. “right now” and confirmed the meeting.

It is not yet known whether he will accept the position.

The vacancy follows the ouster of Katie Zacharia, who was removed from the role after just five days, TMZ reported. Vice President JD Vance reportedly broke the news to her during an interview. Before the midterms, a couple of White House staffers also floated Nicki Minaj as a possible pick, TMZ said.
