Arteta refuses to discuss Bruno Guimaraes amid Arsenal transfer agreement
Mikel Arteta declined to comment on Bruno Guimaraes’ expected arrival at Arsenal despite reports that the club has agreed a £75 million deal with Newcastle United.
Speaking after Arsenal’s 3-1 pre-season defeat to Real Betis, the Gunners manager insisted he would not discuss players who are not officially part of his squad.
Guimaraes is reportedly set to undergo a medical before completing the move to north London, where he is expected to strengthen Arsenal’s midfield ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
