You’re killing democracy’ — Davido slams Tinubu over security withdrawal
Afrobeats star Davido has accused President Bola Tinubu of undermining democracy during the ongoing Osun governorship election, according to Tribune Online.
In a post on X, the singer alleged security operatives were being withdrawn because his uncle’s party was winning, writing that Tinubu was “killing democracy.”
Davido also urged INEC officials to use the BVAS front camera whenever the main camera malfunctioned, following reports of technical glitches at some polling units. He had earlier called on local and international observers to closely monitor the election’s conduct.
