Marcus Rashford reacts to Jamie Carragher’s furious response to Gary Neville

Marcus Rashford has backed Jamie Carragher after the former Liverpool defender became frustrated by repeated questions about the Manchester United forward. According to the Manchester Evening News, Rashford reposted a clip of Carragher telling Gary Neville to stop discussing him, adding that he wanted to “get my head down and play football” without his name being mentioned every day.

Rashford returned to United after spending last season on loan at Barcelona, where he scored 14 goals and provided 14 assists in 49 appearances. With the transfer window still open, speculation over his future continues, although his chances of staying at Old Trafford are increasing.
