Atiku’s son backs Tinubu against father, pledges two million supporters
Abba Atiku Abubakar, son of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, pledging to deliver Adamawa State.
According to The Sun, Abba made the declaration on Friday while presenting 10 buses to the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in Abuja.
He disclosed plans to collaborate with Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike and mobilise supporters nationwide.
Abba, who previously campaigned for his father, described his decision as personal conviction.
“My decision to establish and lead the Haske Bola Tinubu Organisation is a deliberate political choice, one I have made in my personal capacity and with a firm belief in the direction we have chosen to pursue,” he said.
He explained that the buses would initially support transportation in Abuja before expanding nationwide.
The organisation also plans a two-million-person mobilisation march across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
Abba maintained that his political decision reflected independent judgment despite differing family loyalties.
