Jobe Bellingham earns first England call-up alongside brother Jude for Nations League fixtures
Jobe Bellingham has been named alongside his older brother Jude in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the first time, as Chelsea star Cole Palmer misses out, according to a report by France 24.
Fulham teenager Josh King and Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha also earned call-ups for the upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia and Spain.
Addressing Palmer’s omission, Tuchel explained that the Chelsea midfielder: “misses too many opportunities”to impress at the international level after pulling out of the previous squad due to injury.
Meanwhile, newly-crowned Ballon d’Or winner Harry Kane is set to surpass Peter Shilton as England’s most capped male player, having tied his record of 125 appearances.
The squad features goalkeepers Pickford, Steele, and Trafford; defenders Alexander-Arnold, Branthwaite, Guehi, Hall, Konsa, White, Spence, and Quansah; midfielders Anderson, Jude Bellingham, Jobe Bellingham, Garner, King, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, and Eze; and forwards Kane, Calvert-Lewin, Gordon, Ngumoha, Rogers, and Gibbs-White.
