Como Sporting Director clarifies Real Madrid’s buy-back clause for Nico Paz
Como sporting director Carlalberto Ludi has addressed growing transfer speculation surrounding Real Madrid’s potential buy-back clauses for Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon, according to a report by GOAL.
The two former La Fabrica academy prospects have emerged as key figures for the Serie A side, sparking reports that the Spanish giants intend to trigger options to return them to the Santiago Bernabeu.
While Como hold a strong position, Ludi confirmed that Real Madrid retain a structured buy-back option for Paz. Ludi explained:
“The truth is that we did a good piece of business last summer, because now Nico Paz is a 100 per cent Como player. That said, Real Madrid has a buy-back option until a certain date during the transfer window, as is usual.”
Ludi added that Como intend to enjoy the midfielder’s performances for as long as possible before managing any potential future return to Spain.
