FULL LIST: UK advises against travel to 11 Nigerian states

The United Kingdom has advised citizens against all travel to parts of 11 Nigerian states, according to Punch. Essential-travel-only warnings apply to 19 additional states plus the FCT.

States under “all travel” warning:

• Borno
• Yobe
• Adamawa
• Gombe
• Katsina
• Zamfara
• Riverine Delta
• Riverine Bayelsa
• Riverine Rivers
• Riverine Akwa Ibom
• Riverine Cross River

The FCDO said no travel can be guaranteed safe and urged travellers to secure appropriate insurance, warning that coverage could be invalidated if advice is ignored.
